What do we do for you?
The vast majority of people like to keep it simple when it comes to their finances. They like to know what they need to know and to be able to discard the rest; they are not interested in complicated terms and accountant-speak and figures that they don’t understand.
When it comes to accountants, however, we love getting our ‘geek’ on. We love getting into the real nitty gritty of accounts and numbers, and crazily enough, we love keeping up with the ever-changing legislation of tax and finances (thank you HMRC).
The problem that many accountants have, however, is that they try and use their language to communicate to clients and that just ends up with a big confused look on their faces. This is what we don’t want, so to avoid this, here is what we do for you in its simplest form.
This is where you and Adam will sit together and discuss what the future of your business looks like. As well as checking that you have cash to fund your personal and business plans, you’ll also look for improvements you can make to your business and you’ll gain the confidence to be able to make decisions in your business.
Although we expect you to raise your own invoices and do your own payments, our bookkeeping service ensures that every payment, receipt and expense goes in the correct place on your accounting software.
Ever heard of the polite police? This is where Adam (and his team) will wield the power of politeness to get your most tight-fisted clients to pay up when they need to.
For the life of a project, we will run the financial side of it and make sure that the invoices are issued and paid on time. Not only that, but we also ensure that you make a profit and know where the money is spent.
Imagine knowing exactly how much money you can take from your business accounts each month or quarter as a dividend, without incurring massive tax liabilities. That’s what we give you with our dividend tax planning.
Each month you will know exactly how much money to pay your staff, freelancers and HMRC (including the annual P11ds). We will also satisfy any auto-enrolment needs you may have.
We will fill in the paperwork for you and file your annual confirmation statement with Companies House.
Don’t dread your VAT return. We will complete and file it for you whilst making sure that you are claiming for every little bit of VAT you can get back too.
Become the master of your finances. With our cash flow forecasting, you will always know when the cash will run out and the specific actions you need to take to avoid dipping into an overdraft or taking out an unexpected loan to keep the business afloat. We will also help you plan your cash for any big projects or new team hires.
We are always at the end of the phone or email for those little queries that pop up from time to time. If we need to seek additional guidance or crack open one of our favourite spreadsheets, we will let you know what extra cost this will incur.
Way before the legal deadline, you will have your year end statutory accounts and corporation tax return completed and filed at Companies House.
